Weekend Coast Trip: No Interwebz and Lots of Crafting

So this weekend I'm making a coast trip with my roommate and her mother because her mother really doesn't want to go alone.......from what I'm guessing there won't be any internet and its gonna be raining all weekend. Now if there is even a lick of sun for twenty minutes I'm gonna be on the beach searching for shells and rocks and other cool things I might be able to use in crafting ^.^ But seeing as it says rain all weekend this is what I'll be doing to help kill the boredom:

1......bringing lots and lots of crafting stuff. I found a very cute tutorial on how to make a gothic lolita necklace inspired by Kerli's bubble goth style. I think I'll try to put that together or at least pin it together. And then I have my directions on how to make a bustle skirt so I might try that. I'm also gonna bring all my bead work stuff to make jewelry........

2.......movies movies and more movies as something to put in the background of my crafting. And to just chill and watch while me and the roomie have dinner......

3........books just to read in off times.

......so as you can see....I'm hoping to get some crafting done. I will be taking my camera/video camera to take pictures and or video of things that we do so that I can post it up on here when I get back ^.^ So stay tuned

Fight Between Fear and Pain

So I spent most of the day yesterday in a ton of pain from my tooth........until one of my friends took me to the pharmacy to pick up some pain pills. And I've been in a kind of la-la sort of mood ever since.......

Then this morning my mother came and took me out to the dentist office. Which would of been a very bad ride if I hadn't had the pain pills.

Then we sat down and did all the things that we needed to fix my teeth temporarily. Other then the one tooth that I'm having issues with he said everything else seemed like normal ware and tear. But the one that we worked on was mostly gone. And they had to take out the nerve in the center of the tooth (the only thing that really hurt). The best news ever though ^.^ they are gonna be able to save the tooth.......and no one has any idea how happy that makes me ^.^

A Touch of the Victorian Style

Thanks to some question raising on my facebook page I have decided what it is I will be saving up for first ^.^ and its super exciting to me.......because I've been wanting this for some time now!! So starting this month I will be saving extra cash and change and such to get my full Victorian outfit made by Artifice Clothing ^.^

Now this is no simple task here........oh no!! The skirt alone runs $155. With the choice of red black or white PVC and white or black lace. I'm thinking about getting it in white with black lace ^.^  Match that up with the Ophelia ruffle top at $50 and the PVC Victorian shrug at $57 I'm looking at an investment of $262 for the parts of this outfit I can get from Artifice Clothing alone. Not including the hoop skirt needed to keep it as a full skirt or the shipping and handling for that matter.......but it is worth every cent!!

Seeing as each piece is crafted to fit my specific measurements. So its made to order. And if that wasn't enough I get to pick my color combinations from the colors they have available. Add to that the ability to have something fun to shoot in (whether that is just pieces of it or the whole outfit) or something on hand for a costume party that everyone will be jealous of......I am sold on the idea and have set up a fund for it (donate?) ^.^ and will keep you posted on how thats going with new posts (right now at 19 cents on the first day lol).

Found Love Today

So yesterday while I was playing around on-line I came across the song Army of Love by Kerli on the contest part of Sugarpill Cosmetics's facebook page and have since fallen in love ^.^!!!

This girl has the most ridiculously cute wardrobe and sense of style. In Army of Love she has this mask that I have finally been able to find a picture of....look:

And if just makes me wanna go cut the head off a teddy bear to wear it like a face mask ^.^ As creepy as that sounds you have to admit its adorable.......

In Tea Party she goes back and forth between this kinda short but innocent looking blue dress to this black and red more sinister looking one. Both are super chic. And the entire video is just rather outrageous earning it an instant spot in my heart........

Now I could go on and on about this girl's outrageous music videos but thats not the whole reason for this post. The reason I felt inclined to post this is that I've decided that there just are too many things about this girl I would just love....love....love to try my hands at. From her outrageous hairstyles to her out there make- up to her totally edible fashion style (as in I could just eat it all up).........

That being said I think that I might just find myself being one of her moonchildren ^.^ and looking to find dates near me...........

Welcome

So.......

This here is my first ever blog and I'm sorta excited about it :) Been meaning to get one of these forever. And ummmm I'm kinda not sure what it is I'm suppose to be writing about :)

I hope to use this to keep everyone up to date on things like shoots and images from those shoots. Some of my purchases on line and around town......things I'm excited about for sure.
