Book Review: Halloween by Silver Ravenwolf

So this book was on my reading list because I thought it might help me with my research.......and in a way it does.....it helps me get into the minds of those I'm trying to but to tell you the truth I don't ever much like her
books. This one takes you through a quick history of Halloween which works well into my research and will be something that I have to work on more later......but she does it in such as way as to pretend she speaks only to children. Or its just rather silly and not at all to my taste.

Once out of that she works her way through superstitions and different ghouls and ghosties......but its still all rather silly. And then all her spells are geared towards Halloween so expect certain themes in them.

The part I liked most about this book I have to say is the end. Where she does a little to speak to people of not fearing the dead and ways to speak to those loved ones you lost. Which I feel is something more people should do in these times........and the guest section. Which gave a nice it of information about the lifestyles of modern woman who practice.........

Now on a whole there is good information in this book......but if your one that wants their information in a serious tone then I recommend that you don't read this book as much of it is spent in rather silly ideas (Broomstick Flights......like they have an in flight movie).

As always thanks for reading ^.^
